A little reminder of how it all started over 20 years ago!
Joan's Carers Limited is a family run business established in 2000 by Joan Graham. Joan worked in the care industry for many years, including care homes, social work settings and delivering care at home.
She began her business operating from an office in her home, but now has a dedicated office team to assist her in the day to day running of the business. Her son Russell joined the company in 2015 and is now a Managing Director.
Joan's Carers are a well-established care provider in Helensburgh, Dumbarton and all of the surrounding areas and have recently expanded to look after Service Users in Oban and the nearby Islands.
We offer an extensive range of services to help assist and support our Service Users to stay in their own homes.
All services are tailored to the specific needs of the Service User.
Below are some examples of the tasks we can undertake:
- Full personal care
- Assistance with dressing and undressing
- Incontinence management

Whether you are considering some respite care, out of hour care, or are in need of a more specialised service, we are available and ready to help.
All of our staff are thoroughly trained and PVG checked before undertaking home visits, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that your loved ones are being looked after by professionals that put dignity and compassion at the core of our work.
For our Service Users' safety, full PPE is worn at all times and regular Covid19 testing is carried out.
